Dear members and friends of CDA,
As a result of the COVID-19 emergency the Greenwood Centre closed its doors on Friday, but I wanted to let you know that we are very much open and that we are with you. It will mean changes to the way we work but we are striving to look at how we can be what you need right now.
Our Advice and Information line (07543 572 793)
is still open and can now be contacted Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm.
Even if it’s not advice you need, but just a chat for some emotional support then you can call us for that too.
All of the following services have now stopped running until further notice:
- All Greenwood activities including our drop-in advice and support sessions
- Synergy experts by experience activities
- The Disability Advisory Group and Co-Production activities
- Community Inclusion service
- Room Hire at Greenwood
I also wanted to remind you that CDA is a Disabled People’s Organisation – run by disabled people for disabled people.
This is important because it means CDA belongs to the people of Camden who have the experience disability or a health condition. It doesn’t belong to us. Therefore, I cannot stress enough how we want you to guide us on what we should be doing right now.
Over the following days and weeks, we will be contacting all our members and service users to find out what practical and emotional support you might need.
But please, if you feel there is anything we can do for you then please contact me directly on 07732 746 231 or firstname.lastname@example.org
In the short term we will be updating our website, newsletters and social media with information as we get it, but we are also looking at some new types of services which we will update you on in due course.
Sending you are thoughts and best wishes.
Take best care, follow Government advice and please stay well,
Colin Brummage CEO
